To the Pasadena Business Association
It was certainly a privilege to become new members of the PBA and attend our first meeting as the new owners of the McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home.
Ashley and I have worked at the funeral home for many years, me starting in 1997 and Ashley in 2011, so we feel we have deep roots in the Pasadena community.
Ashley and I purchased the funeral home from Valerie Polyniak who decided it was time to retire, and took over sole ownership on January 1, 2023. While we are still learning the ins and outs of ownership, we wanted to get involved with the PBA because John Polyniak, Valerie’s late husband was a long-time member and I would at times attend the monthly meeting with him so, I know how important it is to have those connections within the business community.
Ashley and I have stayed busy raising our little 2-year-old boy John, Jr. and attending Our Lady of the Chesapeake Church, all the while running the funeral home.
Even though our name has been added to the sign and Valerie has retired, we are still the same caring and compassionate funeral home that has been on Mountain Road since 1971.
